What kind of boss do u prefer?

A boss who is not really a boss.
I would prefer an honest boss and one that is fair to all employees. One that is firm but easy to work for.
one who imposes discipline and follows too.
A boss that you respect, who is smart, who can give you a good professional advice and who can help in difficult situation. Who knows his job well. Also Who has a sense of humor. That's the one I've got :)
I want a boss I can personally look up to. He doesn't necessarily have to turn anything he touches into gold but he has to be hard working that way I can also aim to bring out the best in everything I touch.
He has to be committed to his responsibilities whilst keeping his personal and team goals in line with those of the organisation. He must have the ability to motivate members of team without for a minute thinking they could be good they can compete with him someday. I want people who unselfishly develop others as it is through acts like that we become a better nation.
He much have principles and irrespective of what they are...he has to stand by them.
I would like to believe I would make the boss I have spoken of above... :-)
I perfer a boss that respects me too.
One that sees my potential and asks more of me when he feels I'm ready.
