How do I get a cooking job?

I have a little experience in industrial kitchens but I want a cooking job at a restaurant. What is the best way to find one and where should i be looking?

Answers:
First do your research and find a good kitchen to work in. There are places out there that are willing to teach but you have to be willing to learn and work hard. Then walk in and say you want to cook and that you will do anything and I mean anything they ask of you. Be willing to scrub floors and wash dishes slowly they will see your drive and work you up the ladder. If you prove you can do it, they will give you a chance. If you are thinking culinary school spend a year on the job first to find out if this is really what you want to do. Good luck.
If u have an air force base near u try there, they pay good to. try a college, or just go apply at restrants or a diner. good luck.
I cooked in restaurants for years, believe me you dont want to get stuck in this field. Its stressfull, monotonous work, with very little pay.

What worse is the waitresess make much more money and dont even do half the work that is required of you.
GEEZ. tough. APPLY AT A COOKING/FOOD BUSINESS. RIGHT? surf the net. TRY JOBSTREET. LOTS OF SITES IN ASIA. TRY JOBSEARCH. GUDLUK. PEACE.
