You have to have the ability to listen & learn,be able to take advice, and to be able to agree with what is suggested until such time as you can prove the suggestion was wrong,but most of all you have to be able to get on with your partner, or the team will be doomed from the start.
assertiveness, ability to compromise, to work well with others.
follow instructions,listen well before speaking.
