Why didn't wal-mart, target, and best buy hire me?

why didn't all 3 of these hire me? i don't understand. i did everything right. 3 in a row, the 3 large huge companies that people can probably get hired so easily. they just f'd me over like that? how can this possibly be? i really wanted to work at best buy because i know a lot about lcd's, plasma's, and what is good and what is not. and i know a lot about computer and computer softwares. and about video games and stuff. argh this is so ridiculous. what's so wrong?

i applied at these three 4 weeks ago and none contacted me back. well target sent a letter home saying they reviewed my application and if theres anything they will contact me and they never did. argh!

There's probably something better for you lurking around. Sometimes when doors close, others open unexpectedly for the best. In the end, you win. The rejection is probably leading you to something that's better for you.
go to mcdonald's.
find a better place to work
Who knows, maybe they just don't need anyone right now, maybe it was something else. Move on, go interview other places there are 100's of great places to work, who needs them.
They are pervs!
Did you apply recently, around the end of the school year. Those companies are flush with college students wanting to work the summer, some of which worked last summer. Also the first of summer is slow for retail (at least compared to end of summer and holidays).

Since none of them even called you, most likely that there are very few positions open, or none at all.

Companies like that have agreements with colleges, and seasonal employees that they can rehire with no expense to train.

Your sister could have applied when there was a lot of openings, if you really want to work for one of those companies apply in late July or in late November.
it could have been many things that made them not call you for an interview. here are some examples. your availability did not meet their needs. there were more experienced applicants. you did not fill out the application fully or correctly. you checked off you were convicted of a crime. you did not have prior work experience or personal references. you are only looking for summer employment. you are under 16 or 18. you did not list any special skills on the application. my recommendations to you. call the stores and ask for the hiring manager. ask them if the store is hiring. if they say yes, tell the manager you recently filled out an application and are wondering if it had been reviewed yet. then ask if they will be scheduling interviews soon. if they say they already have, ask them why they didn't select you. you may gain some insight into why they didn't call you. you would be surprised how many people forget to write their phone number on the application and how many have illegible handwriting. keep calling the stores until you get an interview. i always call those who seem really interested in my company. good luck.
