If I get a job at a restaurant, will I have to wash my hands daily? Is every other day good enough?
Answers:
The soap is smelly so the management will be able to smell how often you wash. If the smell is a problem you should seek other employment.
Not only will you have to wash them daily, you'll need to probably wash them hourly.change soaps.
no you should wash your hands everytime you start different activities cause being clean is the best thing in the world and it does not hurt

Yes it is very significant to have clean hands while working with food. You touch icky things all day and get all kinds of germs in and on what you touch. If you dont like the soap then get some Germ-x Hand sanitizer. Its like 50c at walmart. I use it ALOT! Its better than soap and water to me.
I would LOL, but I'm feeling lackadaisical today.
Try a non-fragranced soap w/ added moisturizers. A liquid antibicrobial soap is preffered. Wash thoroughly and wash often. Remember that other people's health is in your hands.
do you pee or crap every other day? would you eat at a place where folk bathe and washed every other day? if the soap smells funny buy your own soap..Ivory soap has a non scented version. You must wash hands in warm soapy water every time you use the bath room or handle raw meat or garbage or buss tables...and I believe you know it.
is this a joke? I'm assuming it is, so i'm not even going to answer the question.
but if by chance you aren't, do you mind telling us what restaurant you work at so we dont' go?
If you dont let me know.. The germs around here dont need any more friends.Take your own soap
Obviously, if the soap smells funny the answer is: no you dont have to wash your hands daily. The frequency of washing your hands of course depends on what position you are applying for. Waiters dont need to wash their hands for weeks. Cooks dont either because there is a lot of moisture in the kitchen. For those who dont know, moisture means there is water in the air. You wash your hands with water. Dont worry about these little things, I'd worry more about what kind of food can you eat while you work for free.
Nah, I don't and I do just fine.
Better to have dirty hands that odd smelling hands, eh?
I mean, make no mistake, if the soap dosn't smell funny, I'll gladly wash my hands, but odd smelling soap just isn't my thing.
just suck it up and wash your hands. How would you feel if you got sick because someone behind the scenes at a restaurant didn't wash their hands?
I was a Dietary Aide for a nursing home for 14 years and you have to wash your hands every time you do something. You'll have to wear plastic or vinyl disposables gloves also. Wash hands before putting on the gloves - do the chore then remove gloves and wash hands again. Example - Dish Washing - wash hands before starting, put on clean gloves then you put the dirty dishes on the rack. You push the rack into the dish machine. You take off those gloves then wash your hands again. Put on new clean gloves then empty the rack of clean dishes and put them away. Wash hands again and put on clean gloves. Put more dirty dishes on the rack. Then repeat. Or if your chopping tomatoes, wash hands before starting then put on clean gloves. Chop tomatoes. Remove dirty gloves and then wash hands again. If you're going to chop cucumbers, wash hands before putting on clean gloves, chop the cucumbers. Don't want to "CROSS CONTAMINATE" the food. Remove dirty gloves and wash hands again. With all that washing of your hands, you'll soon get used to the smell. The reason for doing all of this is - let's say you just went to the bathroom. You moved your bowels (BM) and wiped yourself but got some of the BM on your hands. You didn't wash your hands. BM is toxic waste from your body. Do you want to eat BM? I sure don't. People aren't suppose to eat BM.
bring ur own soap
I am guessing that this was a rhetorical question, a little common sense is all you need to figure out the answer.
lol
You're considering a job working around FOOD??? and you don't like to wash your hands often?
Not meaning to sound rude, but your best out is to STAY OUT OF KITCHENS & RESTAURANTS.
Since washing your hands seem to be a problem, check into your local auto service center about changing tires, oil, etc.
You may also try to find a job at a car wash. You won't have to put forth any extra effort to "wash" your hands there.
