Do you think it would be worth my time to start an inter-net business?

My boyfriend and I are thinking of starting a business through My Space , I've never done anything like this before. I've heard a lot of bad things about "My Space" but my boyfriend thinks we'll be ok.

Answer:
It depends on what type of business it would be, sales type businesses do ok online but beware there are alot of companys out there that are a waste of time and just plain rip-off so do lots of research before hand and make sure that any business you get into you can make enough to pay for the marketing etc. I tried a couple of differant marketing things one was for sattelite tv systems and the other was vitamins etc, the sattelite thing I built a web site and was supposed to get 25.00 everytime someoen bought a system through the site well in a years time I didn't sell a single system ( averaged 5,000 hits a day) the vitamin thing was slightly differant, it was kind of like telemarketing the comapny gave me a toll-free number to use to call people from my home, the problem on it was they wanted me to pay 20 bucks a month for the toll free number and there was no guarantee youd ever get any sales.
So please be carefull but yes there are internet businesses that you can make money at. I do customer service for an finacial comapny out of my home and have a set hourly wage, benifits etc so it just like working in an office but at home.

This definatly depends on what the business is and who you are trying to reach, or attract. By reach I mean who your, if you will, "age group" is. But it then again depends what you need to do.
Why limit yourself only to myspace? Why not build a site that

everyone including myspace members could see?
