A friend works in a retail store. It is very important for her to get customers to sign up for credit cards.?

It is so cut throat among the clerks that often when she is talking to a customer, another clerk will come up and lead the customer away and get the customer to get a credit card from her. How would you handle this?

sounds like kmart/sears
tell them "no this is my customer"(firmly) every time they try it
