I'm pregnant for almost 4 months. Partly happy for having baby and partly stressing of job.. worrying!?
Answer:
Are you saying that your contract does not cover maternity leave? That's really unfair.. Is there no legal laws in woman's charter to cover your maternal leave and entitlement? Check yr appointment letter. If there is coverage, pls inform yr immediate supervisor. Can they legally fire you becos yr r pregnant? Pregnancy is a happy moment, y should u b unhappy and stress? Get your document out and check the finer prints. good luck
If they're at all human, they will be happy for you, and do everything they can to make it work for you. Otherwise, it's a job you don't need after all.
You shouldn't have to beg forgiveness for having a family and a life. It's only a job.
Good luck
If work make U THAT stessed up, U should take the year off. Stress for pregnant lady is NOT good at all.Carrying a child in Ur belly for nine months is a lot of work it self. Don't burder Ur self with any other worries.Just stay relaxed and be happy.
Go to your supervisor (who do you call if you are sick and need to tell someone, - thats your supervisor) if no supervisor get a hold of the big boss try and be upbeat and not sound like a victim , and inform him/her of the situation, be honest about how you are going to handle work with the baby, after that call an impromptu meeting with colleagues and let everybody know/ reiterate how you feel about continuing working with them and how happy you are.
Oh COME ON.
I'm sure they noticed by now, first off. Second, there are unpaid maternity/parental leave policies.
Write the boss a short note letting him know you're popping out a kid, and hope to return to work shortly after that. Then, tell your co-workers. It's not that hard!! You shouldn't expect to be PAID for the time you'll be TAKING OFF.. that's absurd. Especially since you've been there only 5 months. UNPAID MATERNITY LEAVE IS HOW IT WORKS.. OMFG.
