What could I have done better at my last job?

I have an interview tomorrow, what's a good answer that I can say?

thanks ahead of time.

Answer:
Looks like the answers you got so far are not that great.unless your interview is with some weird company :-)

The above question is somewhat tricky, so be careful. Do not bad mouth your previous employer by saying something like "Gee, I wish I had the nerve to tell the owner how incompetent my boss really was", or " Gee, I wish I had worked harder". These answers are career, interview killers.

What you may want to do is to use this question an an opportunity to showcase your initiative. One safe answer to give goes like this: One of the areas I struggle with is that of impatience. I am of the opinion that we need to address opportunities, emerging markets quickly, so to position our product lines in a more competitive position relative to the competition. Sometimes individuals misunderstand this trait.". This answer will let your future employers know that you have initiative, understand competitive advantage, and are willing to take risks. The same can be said for work ethic; meaning that the work day ends when the job gets done. Less committed individuals may refer to you as a workaholic; your interpretation is "committed to the mission". And so on.

Good luck.
Something like. I could have been a little more patient with people that weren't pulling their weight.
