What should i write in the cover letter for a supermarket job?

i am applying for a supermarket job and i will have to attach a cover letter.

how can i explain to her that i don't have a national insurance number, and that if she was to employ me than she would have to write a letter to the local benefits office requesting a number for me.

how can i explain to her that i don't have any experience in the reatil sector and that i have arrived in the UK to settle down with my boyfriend.

how can i explain to her that i want this job because its near my living location. the hours of work really suit me?

thanks

Answer:
Firstly use capital letters to begin sentences in the letter (and for I).
Explain why you want the job. Don't mention the insurance number until she offers you the job. I wouldn't also mention about lack of experience. The fact that you're likely to be a reliable employee is going to be in your favour.
Just put it all in the letter and hope for the best.
Just be really up front with the person and make sure be sypathetic about the situation that you're having to deal with. I'm sure that she would understand. I wish you all the luck in the world :)
Try not to dwell on the 'problematic parts' of your situation. Remember you are selling yourself to this employer. Mention your personal qualities - supermarket work can be picked up quickly if your are bright (which you seem to be). If the employer is convinced you are a keen, dedicated and enthusiastic individual then they will bite your hand off when you ask for a job. You can then demonstrate some of the excellent communication skills (which you will have mentioned to them already) when you talk to them about needing a National Insurance number. Finally, supermarkets are big employers and almost certain to have employed people in your situation before - have faith that if they want you, they will make things right for you.

Good luck.
