What the best mainstream place to work when you're first starting out?

I'm gonna be 16 in February but I want to know this stuff earlier on. I want flexible hours and decent pay.I don't expect a lot but.just decent..

concentrate on school first. also, many states have age minimums where you are still considered a child, and children have excessive limits on times they can work.

At 16. You're already expecting to much unless u have some type of specialized skill that's in demand from employers. Otherwise be prepared to start @ the bottom doing the jobs other people don't want to do.
Mcdonalds is a great place depending on where you live the pay is pretty good and they teach alot I am now an assistant manager and I started out as crew and I make more money than some of my classmates that went to college
