Wouldn't it have been better if NIKE chose 'Do It Right' that goes well with the swoosh than 'Just Do It'?

Answer:
There is a very interesting case study on Nike's Just Do It campaign and how it all started

http://www.cfar.com/documents/nikecmp.pd.

The case study mentions that the Just Do It campaign "captures the corporate philosophy of grit, determination and passion, but it also infused . humor."

"Do It Right" sends a different message altogether. The Just Do It slogan tapped into the growing exercise fervor that the company tapped very well
No, it wouldn't, because "Do It Right" is stupid, and "Just Do It" isn't.
No, I think what they chose is better than "Do it right." Anyone who is inept at things like sports may shy away from the suggestion that it is necessary and desirable to do things correctly. "Just [doing] it" is ever so much more impulsive, and sounds a bit more exciting.
