How can I get more business for a motorcycle detailing Business?

We charge $99 for a full detail and run ads in local papers. Any and all ideas are welcome. If someone has done detailing and can tell us what the marketplace is really like will be helpful.

Go to motorcycle stores in your area. Offer to provide something of value to their customers.

Then design a flyer that describes your business. Put a contest box and registration forms and the flyers in every store. (You can buy plastic contest boxes and displays at an office supply store.) The contest is this: Every month, draw one name for a free detail. (You can do one per store, or one per month over all the stores, whichever you feel comfortable with.) The registration form is simple: name and email address. (Not phone ... too many do not want to give that out.)

Over three or four months, you'll have the names and email addresses of lots of people in your area that own a motorcycle. Now start an email campaign (FREE!) to those customers on a regular basis.

Either discount your price, or (better) you might offer "extras" at the regular price ... don't know what extras might be, but you probably do.

Keep emailing, but only once a month. You don't want to bore them to death with thousands of emails, but most of us don't mind an occasional reminder.

I've never done detailing. Strictly an ad guy.

Advertise, advertise, advertise. Get a radio ad, hand out coupons, give people a good deal when they refer a friend. It's all about advertising. You have to let people know you are out there. Rent a billboard sign, make a local commercial. Even if you have little fund to advertise with there are lots of ways to do it, you just have to be creative.
go to motorcycle shops in your area and see if they carry free magazines in your area,these types of magazines usually advertise "bike nites" at bars,restaraunts,place ads in these magaizines
