Do Telemarketers Piss You Off? I have the solution...?

The three little words are: "Hold On, Please..."
Saying this, while putting down your phone and walking off (instead of hanging-up immediately) would make each telemarketing call so much more time-consuming that boiler room sales would grind to a halt.
Then when you eventually hear the phone company's "beep-beep-beep" tone, you know it's time to go back and hang up your handset, which has efficiently completed its task.

These three little words will help eliminate telephone soliciting.

Haha, nice one! I might actually try that.
Or you could always say "Sorry, I'm busy right now - give me your number and I'll call you back..." =P
Not really a question, is it? I prefer to be polite and get off the phone. They are people just trying to make a buck after all.
the best solution is not to circumvent them but to explicit politely.Countries law should pass on to ban them completely.Tele-marketing irritates consumer, the best is banning them with the help of respective governments.I called then v r liable for the compensation
If you see an 800 or some 8 number with two numbers after it on your caller ID, don't answer it. It's better than going through all the hassle of picking up the phone and saying hello.
