Firms expand their marketing boarders in order to grow the business for several reasons:
1. The home country has reached it's maximum potential.
2. Laws in the home country have become too restrictive.
3. Larger demand for your product or service internationally.
4. Less competition internationally.
5. Larger profit margins internationally.
6. All of the above or a combination thereof.
Marketing is just a word that really means selling. International refers to countries outside your own country. Therefore International marketing means selling things outside your home country. The reason behind this is to sell more goods to more people to make more money.
