How do i answer a question which starts which asks us to Critically evaluate the something?
Answer:
I hated having to critically evaluate things in college!
You have to point out the positive things against the neagative things and explain why you think what you think about them. You also have to research other people views on the subject and say how you think they came up with their answers.
That explains it in simple terms (I think).
Good luck :-)
The first example that came to my mind was the Nova adverts (don't work in Spain because no va means "no go"!)
Use two sides of the argument for and against the barriers that exist and come down on whatever side you feel has the strongest argument.
Good luck, its been a long time since I had to critically evaluate anything.
After Roxy's suggestion, think also about language barriers - having to "dub" TV ads. Also ethnicity of models/actors etc. Goodness, there's loads you can write about. Enjoy!
Address the how, the why and the what - your tutor should be able to give you some info on the methods of answering questions and what is expected of you.
