Is there any difference between online and traditonal shopping?

Do you think that it is only separated only by the convenience factor of time and place?

Answer:
Time saved is GREAT, but you definitely find more selections on line than what you could ever find in a store. Plus, it opens up a whole new world of items. i recently just bought some jewelry from INDIA. It'd be hard to do that living in Maine !!
some stores offer free shipping online and there are often sales online that aren't in stores and probably vice versa. with gap for example, there are some products only available online. for other stores (ie: electronic), the sites also don't charge tax which can save you more money!
You probably end up spending more money shopping at a mall than you would online.
Yes pretty much so. More convenient and save time. I am not very sure about pricing they usually vary.
I'm able to get a lot of items cheaper online, and with a much larger selection than I can find in any store. Since there are often no sales taxes and some places give free shipping and handling for certain items or dollar amounts, I find I'm able to purchase more or better items on my budget.
you don't see the merchandise before hand when shopping online
Many times on line shoppers don't have to pay sales tax. That's a plus, but then the cost of shipping is a negative. I suppose it depends on where you live. Down here in Arkansas, we don't have the stores that a person might have near a major city. The cost of a tank of gas to visit a "brick and mortar" store far exceeds the cost of shipping. For my money, on line shopping rules!
Yes. Not necessarily. I think you can find a wider variety of goods online. You can also check the prices more readily. Some of the sites give ratings from other customers, and I like that whether it's reliable is another question. You can't beat sitting in front of your computer late at night doing all your holiday shopping with a nice fire going.
There are two completely different target audiences of these types of shopping. So you know how many people I personally know who refuse to have a credit card? (obvisously not) There are so many people in the world who do not access to computers and some who have access to computers but not the internet. Then there are those who know how to use their computers and can even connect to the internet but have no idea how to shop online.
