They told me I won 1,000,000 euros should I believe them ?

I have received an e-mail saying that I won 1,000,000 euros, through computer drawing ballot system all over the globe as a promotional program

They gave me the name of the bank to contact , name of the person to contact his phone number (overseas) and his e-mail

And do you think anyone gives out free money like that ?! It doesn't make any sense but I wanna try though.. Advices plz ?

Do you think I should contact them ? How can I do so without risking a fraud or any trick?

Answer:
High chance it is a scam. But if you are serious about finding out the truth, go on a independent investigation on the assigned bank, and the promotional event, the event company.

Before you contact the person from the email.

Good luck,
wake up and delete the email...

If you contact them, they will just try and sell you something.
I'll negotiate for you for a $1,000 fee (up-front of course)

Geesh, by the way did you buy a ticket?
Don't even contact them, it a new way to stiff people.
It happened to me and i had received council of the Dutch embassy about it.
