I own a small Handyman/Home Improvemt Business In Long Island. About two Years ago I placed an ad in 4 local town paper's and got a ton of work. This kept Me going for over a year. The Ad Ran for 4 weeks and I pulled it Due to too much work coming My Way. NOW 2 years later I Ran the same ad in 8 local town paper and did not get any calls for work. Did you ever thank your customers for their business? Call them up and ask if they need some repairs.
Just a hint.a homeowner always thinks a plumber, electrician or handyman is charging too much. Use a little salesmanship and be fair ,not cheap, with your charges.
Call your regular customers every three months. Something is always going wrong.
