Why does the geico gecko have a limey accent?

Apparently, years and years of market research have shown that people find a British accent more trustworthy than an American one.I really don't know what that says about the state of affairs of our world, but that's the reason.
.the gecko is kind of cute though, isn't he? I reckon my wife has a crush on him :-)
I don't know, but I think the whole advertising approach is funny and gets my attention. If Geico was cheaper for me, I would switch. I've checked and it isn't.
1. Do a Yahoo Search. Or use your favorite search engine. I'd bet you'd be surprised, even shocked at what you'd come to learn and know about geckos, geico, limey insurance and such.
2. Now, of course you have a choice in insuring business. And thank God! For God forbid it were the limey thing just it we'd all die.
Here's the thing: what has you be the way you are being about the creepy lizards? I mean I don't really care for them much if at all myself cuz I grew up with them runnning all over house and yard scared the kids, the creepy things. Christ, I how I hated them talking late at night in the dark crawling down the walls, yikes.
Did you have it kinda sorta when as a child? Of course not! But what has you be the way you are about geckos. What happened? Where's the fear from?
Are you adult now? As adult you have the capacity to distinguish fear such that you no longer remain like a stupid child. I didn't not call you stupid, did I?
I said you may be losing lots and lots lots more with how you go about making decisions about what to buy and not buy. And if you really looked at the whole thing perhaps from a different point of view you'd see for yourself it's completely irrational. No, there's nothing wrong; no, you didn't do anything wrong; yes, you're normal. we all human beings do the very same thing every single day 365. You just opened your mouth, that's all.
My answer at last: I assert that's the very same way you make decisions about every thing else in your life. Yes, I mean significant other, school, job, career and such. Exact same pattern which leaves you unfulfilled. Why? Because the decision a young, trembling child made many years ago is the same young today still deciding but now on insurance matters.
I said you're normal, didn't i? The way you are is exactly how we humans operate.
