the concept of marketing is to grab the attention of potential consumers through available venues. the point of marketing is to generate a profit.
Read some useful tips on marketing and more on this site
to sell ur product wz a high price even if it dont deserve it.
and to buy other products wz a helll of money which dont deserve it tooo.....
Marketing is
to find what consumers need,
a better way (better product, lower price, better location, etc.) of giving it to them,
do it,
and make money in the process.
If in that definition we delete the concept of profit, it is not marketing. It would be social service, charity, etc.
Profit is inherent to marketing.
