How to prepare for an interview? for marketing?
Answer:
If you mean a job interview (as opposed to an interview with the media), you have to keep one thing in mind; your first priority is to market YOURSELF. This will tell the firm a lot about your ability to market any products they'll handle.
Take a few extra copies of your resume and references, and copies of copy you've written and/or ads you've designed.
Dress nicely, and relax. Smile, and think as clearly as possible, as they may throw some real curves at you to see how "creatively" you can think.
Have you had a marketing interview before. I haven't but I have had interviews for Government positions in Australia up to five members. It can be very intimidating and daunting. However, do you know your work are you confident with your work, do you have a professional outfit suitable for a professional interview and the right shoes, I think that cost me a job once (just as well it was a casual pos in a bank..yawn!). If you have all that, clear your head, take a deep breath, a glass of water and ask God for peace of mind over your life and you'll do just fine!
