Answer:
there is.there are hersheyettes and sixlets and no name ones that you can get around christmas time in those big plastic candy canes
I've seen them before, but they aren't very good
Always Save chocolate buttons
because they would taste like crap and everyone knows it.
there are generic M&M's..
just stop at a Dollar General store, they have them in the candy section by the checkout..
The same reason there are no generic Snickers, Kit Kat, etc.

There are some generic m&m's in trail mixes but you generally don't find non-m&M brand chocolate pieces in the grocery store. Sometimes they have them at dollar stores but they taste like crap.
there is their called dot made by brachs candies i beleive in chicago illinios
Hershey's used to make them and they were a hell of alot better tasting then M & M's. They stopped when they started making Reeses pieces. They have them only around Xmas time, they put some in plastic candy canes.
I've also had them before, try looking in the baking section of your local grocery store.

P.S. I must agree, they taste.not very good.
Try Smarties, much better than M&Ms.

There are, they're just packaged as smaller candies and go under a different name with no writing on the candy.
