Will the post office deliver mail to an apartment renter without the apartment number?
Answer:
Hi, perhaps you can try Google adwords to market your service/product.
Google adwords is a text-based system for advertising on its site and its partner sites. The service allows you to create your own ads, choose keywords to help match your ads to your audience, and control the cost of your advertising—you pay only when people click on your ad (a cost per click plan). Anyone wishing to promote a product on Google can enroll in this program.

What are you trying to do?
Yeah, they'll send it to the front office
If the carrier is familiar with the tenants name they might put it in the right box but theres no guarantee.
Sometimes they will if they know what number belongs on it!
I have seen mail returned to sender. It is up to the mailman. If he knows the person he will put it in the correct box but he is not going to search for them.
The Post Office will always attempt to deliver an item - even without a full address. If there is only one Mr Jones in an apartment block then the postman will deliver an item addressed to Mr Jones to the one they know about without an apartment number.
If, however, there are more than one Mr Jones at the apartment then they will return the mail to sender.
it depends, if the carrier knows whose box to put it in, yes..
but if the apartment bldg has 200 units, most likely, no.
usually if they are used to delivering to the apartments they will recognize the name and know what # it goes with. if not, i am not sure what happens.
Yes if the apartment complex has an office it will.running a risk of it not being received by right person though.
Sometimes, yes. Sometimes, no. If he is familar with you, maybe yes. If he is not familar with you, it may take too much of his time to do a search of the building to fine the right box. He may spent 15 minutes searching for the right box and still not find it, so --Maybe yes--maybe no
Not always.
Unless the carrier knows the person, then its a toss up.
if he is familiar with the building.
The letter carrier often knows the addressee by name and doesn't need the apartment number. That is, he's seen the name so often that he knows enough to scan the various mailboxes for that street number and find the name on one of them. Sometimes, he has other letters with the same name and those letters show the apartment number.
It's sometimes just a little puzzle for the letter carrier to solve. Helps make his day more interesting. Gives him a minor challenge.
If he can't figure it out, he'll sometimes put the letter in the mail box of someone in the building that he knows and trusts. That person will usually assist him by either delivering the letter personally, or handwriting the apartment number on the envelope and placing it back in his box. The letter carrier sees it on his next visit, and places it in the appropriate box.
I'm not a letter carrier, and don't know whether doing such things is against the rules, but I know it happens.
it depends on if the mailman knows who the mail is addressed to, if he/she is used to seeing your name they will probably know what mailbox to put it in..
oooh that happened to me and the mailman put it at another door and i lost my b-day gifts cause my mom didnt put the number on it but it didnt go to the office and they dropped it off at the first apartment on the address. if you have a confimation number call your post office and tell them that the apartment number is not on the and you would like them to hold all of your mail .. and then you can go pick it up.. cause ppl are funny when it comes to not putting apt numbers on the box. or tell your mailman the scenario and he will look out for it as long as he aint a jerk..
