Turn over of staff in call centres?

percentage each year

Answer:
For 2003 it was between 25-30%
DUNNO BUT ITS GOTTA BE ONE OF THE HIGHEST.
I work for one of the large UK financial companies and I would estimate the turnover in our call centre is about 15-20% a year.
I do not think anyone publishes any figures on this so there are no exact numbers but I do know that staff turnover is relatively high - one of the highest - I wouldn't be surprised to see turnover figures of 30% upwards.
Don't know but I went to a talk by Alan Hughes, the guy who used to run First Direct, now part of HSBC. They had the lowest turnover by miles in the industry and were the most recommended bank in the UK with a customer satisfaction way above the rest.

so they probably know a thing or two about how to run call centres
let me know if you know
