Would you buy this?

Answer:
No, I wouldn't give someone $180 to save their pet because.
1. I don't have the money to give (or "donate" for that matter).
2. I have my own pet to take care of and his needs are more important than a pet that I have nothing to do with.
I suggest this person save up their own money or talk to the vet about a possible payment plan. Even though I barely make any money, I still saved up enough to pay about $630 in vet bills within 4 months and that was with me working part time while in college. I was paid back $430 of that though because I paid for my mom and dad's cat, Trixie's, vet bill because she had a bad ear infection and a possible stroke. Then, the month after that, my cat got into a car engine and had a fan belt injury, so his vet bill was around $200. It's expensive to have a pet, but I couldn't NOT take him to the vet. His leg was raw to the muscle. He's healed now though.
Anyhoot, the person should just ask the vet if they have payment plans or if you have a credit card, just put it on the credit card and make monthly payments until the bill is paid off.
No.
Nothing.
Someone's pet is their responsibility, not mine. They either need to take care of it or get rid of it themselves. Just like Old Yeller.
