Do u have any ways for a 11-13 teen year old to get more people to to hire me 4 babysitting?
Answer:
I'm 13 as well and I've just started babysitting!! I only baby sit my friend and shes 11. I ask some parents I know and I also ask Some kindergarten parents and say to tell whenever. I also ask most of my neighbours and I last ask my family members!!
put up flyers around the neighborhood and in stores thats what my sister did and she got a job the next day. :)
Who ever you currently babysitting for now, ask them if they would be kind enough to refer you to any of there friends who also need a sitter.
Have you checked with your neighbors?
I WOULD LOVE for someone your age to come to my house to ask if they could babysit my son!
Will your mom be home? My neighbors have this arrangement.but, the girls just don't seem interested. And, as my son is only 6 months I'm leary. So.I use another babysitter who is a senior in High School this year.
Why not send out fliers with your rate and info and experience you have. Kinda like a resume. That way people have all your info in that sheet itself.
Do you know other girls your age that like to babysit? Why not start a 'babysitter's club'. We did this when we were your age (inspired by the books no less). This way the parents would be insured of a babysitter when they needed one.
Try going to a babysitting website and posting a profile. I'd recommend www.sittercity.com or www.babysitters.com. I'm not sure if there are age restrictions on those sites. If there are, I'd say ask your mom, dad, or any other family member to talk you up at work if anyone needs a sitter. Are there families with young kids in your neighborhood? Ask them if they need some help. Try getting CPR and first aid certified- that will show parents that you're responsible and care about the safety of their children. Some YMCAs offer babysitting courses, so you might want to look into that, too.
One of the problems you might run in to is that people might think you are too young. Offer to watch the kids while mom runs errands or cleans up around the house. It's a shorter time, and she can be home if she needs to be.
Hope this helps! :o)
You might try making some business cards for your parents to hand out for you and for your current clients to hand out to their friends. Also if you attend church, that might be a good place to let people know you are available to baby-sit. Just be careful to get references (ask around) about anyone you don't know before you agree to baby-sit for them!

I know my children are in elementary school, and I am looking for babysitter, So i would let the elementary teachers know. As I have asked the teachers every now an then to see if they know anyone that babysits.
Remember, you are starting a business so to succeed, you have to act in a business-like manner. Which means four things.
1: When you do get a babysitting job, make sure you do the best damn job you can possibly do so that you will be rehired and that people you work for will refer you to others so that you will get more work.
2. You have an awesome responsibility and you MUST take it seriously. That means showing up ON TIME and in a GOOD MOOD and not taking advantage of the situation. Don't eat or drink anything unless they say it's OK and even then exercise extreme moderation. Don't make messes or play loud music or spend hours on the cell phone and NEVER invite anyone over. Put your attention where it should be. on making sure all the needs of the children are met. NEVER EVER fall asleep!! You are responsible for the safety of the children!
3. BE AVAILABLE. The more you are available, the more jobs you will get. Go through your schedule and decide exactly when you are available and then devote that time to babysitting jobs and keep your commitments, which means you will often have to say "no" when your friends call you to do fun stuff.
4. Advertise, advertise, advertise!! Take some initiative. Make up a flyer on your computer and print up 30 copies of it and stick it on every telephone pole in your neighborhood. Make up business cards and give them to every parent you know so they have your phone number and will call when they need your services.
Since I know you have access to the interenet, you can advertise your babysitting services for free on Craig's list and a jillion other places.
good luck.
lots of references, references, referenc. and you want a lot of good feedback from other clients also be careful about putting ads in the newspaper. make sure your parents check out who you are babysitting for there are some sick people in this world.
Also ask friends who babysit maybe you can fill in for them if they can't make it to one of their babysitting jobs.
good luck
Run a small ad in the local paper
Well, I had a lot of babysitting jobs.it was because I had three younger siblings and was always seen caring for them. Jobs were all near where I lived and my folks new most of the families.the rest were word of mouth buy the others I sat for. You really can't go advertising for a job like that.parents need to feel confident their kids are safe with you.
