I've never heard of anyone ever winning anything from them. Lots of "retouched" photos showing the "winners" but nothing else.

Some of the books were very good though.
Apparantly, my dad was very close to winning several thousand pounds for about 15 years running.....never got a penny, sod his luck eh?

I have not even seen a decent article in Readers Digest. Even the jokes are secondhand - I have heard most of them in my local pub about two years ago.
A relative signed on to one of their prizewinning schemes many years ago, and won nothing. All he got was a a magazine full of old jokes and conjecture.
Never. Somehow I always believe that I will win and get sucked into sending things back and pratting around sticking this to that.
For such a household name you'd think somebody would know somebody, who was the girlfriend's cousin of the next door neighbour's boss's son. No, nobody knows anyone. It should stop.
I do small quizzes and competitions now, more chance of actually winning - I have won a few things too.
